Meet Dr. Cynthia Franco

Dr. Cynthia Franco has been a Board-Certified Optometric Physician since June 2004. She was raised in New York City and obtained her pre-optometry studies at Loma Linda University in La Sierra, California. She later moved to Puerto Rico, where she completed a BBA in Marketing and then her Doctorate of Optometry at the InterAmerican University School of Optometry with high honors.

 Dr. Franco enjoys all aspects of patient care, including treating and managing conditions such as dry eye, glaucoma, and ocular diseases of the cornea. She specializes in contact lens fittings, especially the “difficult-to-fit” patients. She is also an Associate Clinical Professor for the InterAmerican University College of Optometry. She is skilled in the co-management of cases involving cataract surgery and refractive surgery.

Dr. Franco and her husband, Alberto, live in Orlando with their two children. They enjoy traveling and spending time at the beach. She also loves cooking for her extended family and friends.
